Dear IATP Friend,

We have been watching appointments to the Obama cabinet with great interest. It is clear that we will need to remain vigilant and work closely with the new administration. We need to stabilize volatile agriculture commodity prices, improve market competition, support sustainable farming systems and encourage the production of healthier food. Now is the time to fix a broken U.S. trade policy that has caused enormous harm to farmers, workers, communities and the environment.

With our longstanding partnerships across the globe, IATP is ready to help the U.S. rejoin the global community and move toward a new, green and locally based economy that benefits us all. Will you join us in these efforts and make a tax-deductible gift today?

As unstable financial markets, global warming, and international conflicts dominate the news, our work for just and sustainable food, trade, farming systems is even more critical.

We now have a new political climate to make real change. And just in time. We need a healthy, productive food system. We need to stop global warming. And as you know, in these tough times we need to start revitalizing Main Street.

There is important work to be done and we need your help.

Join us in our efforts for change. Please give today.
